This senior management role is a new position for our NZ based client, who is embarking on an expansion programme within their existing China operation.

The first order of business for the successful applicant will be to drive the development of a new 3,200 cow dairy unit. This will involve everything from dealing with the local officials to liaison and managing the design, tendering the build and overseeing the construction.

The project will be completed when the first cows are milked and at that time a Farm Manager will take over and the Farm Development Manager will move on to the next development.

We are seeking applicants who have a sound understanding of dairy farming, previous project management experience and who preferably have lived and worked offshore before (so understand the challenges of being an expat), as this role is based in China.
